A Year(ish) Later
In case anyone was actually following along...I think it's right to tell the whole story. Once they stopped working (see last entry), I made an appointment with the doc to either have them adjusted or try something else. Also - I had gained A LOT of weight since starting the meds. So at that point, it was all downsides with no up. The doc couldn't see me for 3 weeks. Then, the day before the appointment, they said there was a conflict and it would be another 2 weeks. I explained my situation and said I didn't think it was right for me to wait 5 weeks. I indicated that if they couldn't get me in with someone in the practice sooner, I would find a new doctor. This strategy was met with the distinct impression that they already had more than enough patients. So I headed East. No, not to Kamar-Taj (can't afford plane tickets). Simply went to a more holistic doc who, among other things, prescribed Lithium. Mmm, k. Still considering if I'm going to go "natural...
